Rosario,
Argentina, with a population of approximately one million people,
is the country’s second largest city and one of the most important
academic centers in the nation. Since 1997 Rosario has developed into
an important labor market for Spanish translation and localization.
Rosario boasts a recognized professional translation school, where
trainees complete three years of study in different translation disciplines
to graduate as professional certified translators. Likewise, Rosario
National University prepares highly educated language and linguistics
professionals who specialize in mastering the Spanish language and
grammar.
In 2004 Rosario was selected to host the III International
Congress of the Spanish Language attended by renowned experts
and professionals from every corner of the Spanish-speaking world. |
